Rajasthan Film Festival is the biggest Award Ceremony for the Rajasthani Film Industry, organized by Kanchan Cassettes and Series every year in the month of September to acknowledge the talent and hard work of various film makers, directors, producers, actors, singers and other people who are involved in the tedious process of film making and has been greatly supported by various Government and other eminent personnel of the Industry. We believe that the Rajasthani artistes possess great talent, who, with a proper platform, can reach great heights. Therefore, Rajasthan Film Festival has undertaken this initiative to provide such a platform to these filmmakers. It is our objective to take the Rajasthani Culture to immense heights, and we feel that Cinema is the only platform where music, dance, art and traditions are combined together and magic of pure entertainment and knowledge is created. We can proudly say that this is the 5th year of Rajasthan Film Festival, and we have been lucky enough to experience the change it has brought in the Industry as well as the Culture. Filmmakers and Directors, even from small provinces, are now gaining the courage to shed their fears, come into the light and create films as they are now believing in the support they will be getting from the Government and the Industry. Our objective is to promote our culture not only in Rajasthan, but all over the nation and the world. To achieve this, we invite various Artists and Celebrities from different parts of the country and ask them to experience our films and culture and realize how talented and creative they are. The journey of deferring the art, culture, cinema and artists began in 2013 at Deep Smriti Auditorium in Mansarovar, Jaipur. The ceremony began with a Documentary of 70 years of Rajasthani Cinema. The Artists, Producers, Directors and the people associated with cinema saluted and applauded the roots and significance of Rajasthan in their special ways. Everybody expressed their heartfelt feelings and progressed to the development of Film Industry. In this Function the artists of Hindi and Rajasthani cinema in all categories were given Awards. In addition O.P.Vyas, Gulabo Sapera, Mohan Singh Rathore, Veena Cassettes, Modern Videos, Neelu Wagela, Kshitij Kumar, and Ramesh Tiwari were awarded with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their achievements in their fields. During the second Award Ceremony in 2014, Mr. T.P Aggarwal, President of Indian Motion Pictures Producer Association (IMPPA) was the Chief Guest at our function. Among various celebrities and eminent person, the glamorous bollywood and TV Actor Karanvir Bohra, play back singer Mohammed Irrfan and film critic Komal Nahata, Kachisingh , Rukhsar Ahmed were also included. Famous Actor Ashok Bhatia and Kabeer anchored the Show. A very popular comedian Suresh Albela made people laugh with his comedy. Also, Journey of Rajasthani Cinema was shown in a documentary based on Rajasthani Films and Rajasthani Culture. The Third Rajasthan Film Festival was organized on 26 September at Jaipur Bagh Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur. In this award function about 5000 people were present and the awards in 25 categories were given to the artists of Rajasthani Cinema. The Chief Guest of this function was Bollywood’s well known Producer-Director and Showman Mr. Subhash Ghai and the Ceremony was presided by the Communication & Information Minister Mr. Rajya Wardhan Singh Rathore. Along with them, Anoop Soni, Arun Bakshi, Komal Nahata, Swaroop Khan, Rahul Sharma, Aniruddh Dave and other Bollywood and Television celebrities and artists were also present. The Fourth Rajasthan Film Festival was organized on 24 September, 2016 at Maan Place Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur. In this award function about 5000 people were present and the awards in 18 categories were given to the artists of Rajasthani Cinema. The Chief Guest of this function was Bollywood’s well known (Writer & Ltristic) Mr. Javed Akhtar Along with them, Aman Verma, Mohit Gaur, Komal Nahata, Ruhi Singh, Bhanwari Devi other Bollywood and Television celebrities and artists were also present. The fifth edition of Rajasathan Film Festival was organized from 14 to 16 September, 2017 at Deep Smriti Auditorium, Jaipur. In this ceremony awards were given in 17 categories to the talented and hardworking artists of Rajasthani cinema. The award Ceremony boosted the morale of people to work more and better in the future. The prominent guests on this award night were Gajendra Verma, Roje Khan, Surendra Pal, Komal Nahta, Aniruddh Deve, Himanshu Soni, Rohit Purohit, Preeti Jhingiyani, Gulabo Sapera. The award show was hosted by Aman Verma and Mahendra Gaur. During this three day festival, on first day a dance competition was organized for school and college students on Rajasthani theme. On second day, a discussion and press conference was organized to discuss about condition of rajassthani cinema and on third day award night was hosted. The

Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful states of India. And, we are very proud to have the opportunity of spreading the culture of Rajasthan. The essence of Indian and Rajasthani culture is seen in the RFF and this makes RFF, the most loved film festival in India as both culture and cinema loving people visit RFF with great joy and enthusiasm. Rajasthan film festival is one of the most heart throbbing film festivals in India. Rajasthan film festival has intention to motivate Rajasthani artists, technician, filmmakers and others who are involved into various segments of film making. With RFF, K-Series wishes to retain the love for Rajasthani films, music and culture among people of Rajasthan. In this grand award ceremony, best artists are given a trophy which gives them the confidence to continue their hard work. RFF has been rated as the best film award function of Rajasthan and till now it has been organized in Jaipur but in future, it might be organized in various parts of Rajasthan or India. People of Jaipur have a deep enthusiasm for Rajasthani art, culture and language.With this award show, artists get the opportunity to showcase their talent at National & international level. Rajasthan film festival is being celebrated from last 5 years and has marked a remarkable position within the hearts of people. The Rajasthan film festival award function celebrates the art and culture of Rajasthan and it is just not an event now but a celebration in itself. It is the Celebration of the music, art, dances of Rajasthan & the dedication of Rajasthani artists towards their work. On event night, whole Jaipur cherish the grand award show and experience the great visual delight. People and industrialists from whole India visits this Film festival.
